Obtaining meat and meat products from unhealthy animals, failure to comply with hygiene and sanitation rules, hiding in inappropriate conditions, or participating in various medicines and chemicals adversely affect human health. Consumers now have some concerns about the consumption of meat and meat products. Healthy, safe and quality meat can only be understood by control and analysis in accordance with standards. The most important point to be considered is the adulteration of meat and meat products. Imitation and adulteration in food was processed by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock in the context of the Turkish Codex. In our laboratory Real Time PCR and ELISA methods are used to perform "Meat-Species Analysis" analyzes.
